The story
About Savage Drive
Someone used my name to open a dead man's files. Dante Moretti decides that makes me his problem.
I keep the Chicago Kings' sponsors happy, their budgets clean, and their men convinced I am harmless. Then I find dirty money buried in the team's accounts. The accountant who flagged it first is dead. The evidence is in my bag. And someone inside the building is trying to frame me.
Dante is the Kings' head of security and a Moretti fixer who treats locked doors as love letters. He takes my phone, closes every exit, and orders me into his protection before I can decide whether he is saving me or containing me.
I tell him I am not his to command.
Then men come for me during a transfer, and Dante answers with blood.
Now I am trapped in his safe house until the sponsor summit, the only person who can decode the evidence and the one woman he watches like obsession is another security protocol. Every look says he wants me. Every locked door says wanting him could cost me my freedom.
The threat outside wants me silent. The man inside wants me close.
Savage Drive is Chicago Kings Book 2, a dark football bodyguard romance with forced proximity, touch-her-and-die obsession, a morally gray protector, and explicit heat.
